Job Description

Position Overview

Skilled US is seeking a dynamic and experienced CTE Instructor - Advanced Manufacturing & Robotics Instructor to lead technical training for high school CTE students and adult learners. In this full‑time, in‑person role based in Indianapolis, you will deliver hands‑on instruction in advanced manufacturing, robotics, industrial automation, and essential workplace safety (including OSHA 10 and 30 certifications) through the Conexus Catapult curriculum and other industry‑aligned models. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, hands‑on training in advanced manufacturing, robotics, industrial automation, and safety protocols (including OSHA 10 & 30).
  • Develop and maintain lesson plans, lab environments, and training equipment in line with industry standards.
  • Provide individualized coaching, track student performance, and guide diverse learners along their career pathways.
  • Drive program innovation and continuous improvement by contributing to curriculum development and project management initiatives.
  • Cultivate relationships with local employers and community partners to build pipelines for internships, apprenticeships, and job placements.
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate on scheduling, reporting, and grant compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Advanced Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Authorized Trainer Certification preferred (or to be obtained within 90 days of hire, employer‑sponsored).
  • 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in an advanced manufacturing or robotics environment, with a proven track record in Lean Manufacturing and quality control.
  • Prior teaching or training experience in a CTE, adult education, or workforce development setting is preferred.
  • Strong instructional, leadership, and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and blended learning tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry‑recognized credentials in robotics, mechatronics, or automation systems.
  • Experience with the Conexus Catapult curriculum or similar industry‑aligned training models.
  • Bilingual abilities or additional language skills are a plus.
