Position Overview
Join Monument Health in Rapid City, SD as a Registered Nurse in the RCH Medical-Nursing department. This role offers a scheduled 20-hour work week with a starting pay rate range of $34.00 - $42.50 (determined by your knowledge, skills, and experience). UP TO A $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS is available for qualified candidates. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire holistic patient data and assess health status using the ANA Nursing Process.
- Analyze assessment data to establish patient diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement prescribed interventions to promote patient recovery and coordinate care effectively.
- Collaborate with advanced practice nurses and specialists to design and refine patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments.
- Ensure compliance with the ANA Standards of Professional Performance and the Nursing Code of Ethics.
- Utilize technology and software to document nursing procedures and patient services.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (American Heart Association – within 60 days of hire or transfer).
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License issued by the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of Registered Nurse experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
