Position Overview
AAA USA is seeking passionate Aircraft Structures/Sheet Metal Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will maintain and repair aircraft components and airframe structural supports to ensure aircraft safety and performance. Opportunities are available in multiple locations including Florida, Idaho, Alabama, Texas, Arizona, Washington, North Carolina, Arkansas, and Kansas.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret Structural Repair Manuals, engineering drawings, and Service Bulletins.
- Complete skin repairs requiring doublers or triplers with complex contours.
- Perform complex repairs and replacements that require substantial disassembly (e.g., wing spar, keel beam).
- Remove and install aircraft components as required.
- Conduct minor structural repairs on composite components.
- Assist in hidden damage inspections and complex structural repairs on or off aircraft.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working with aircraft structures.
- Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
- Effective written and verbal communication regarding aircraft status.
Preferred Qualifications
- A&P Certification
