CAD Software Applications Engineer

Position Overview

In this role, you will develop CAD tools and software for advanced chip design, methodology, technology, algorithms, and automation, including in‐house IP qualification methodology, SoC integration/design/optimization tools, and IP qualification automations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software and automation for chip design
• Participate in developing methodologies for SoC design
• Strong debug skills with the aptitude to learn and resolve complex issues
• Contribute to the continuous development of tools, technology and flows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree
• Prior experience with CAD tool automation development using programming (Python/C++/TCL/JavaScript)
• 2+ years of experience in VLSI RTL design/CAD or equivalent
• Experience with Machine Learning/AI
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to work independently
• Highly motivated with excellent team spirit, product and customer orientation
• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience;
  • OR Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience;
  • OR PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in VLSI design, synthesis, and CAD tools
• Understanding of RTL design, SoC integration and ASIC design process is a plus

• Compensation: $115,600.00 - $173,400.00
