Job Description

Position Overview

The Professional 2, Product Marketing plans, develops, and executes promotional campaigns that inform the organization's target market of the merits of purchasing its products and services. The role involves varied work assignments that require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. It also supports Humana's growing Medicaid line of business, which provides insurance and care options predominantly for low‐income individuals, families, and those with disabilities.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Humana's Medicaid line of business while understanding applicable state-by-state Medicaid regulations.
  • Contribute to both traditional and digital marketing campaigns targeted to the Medicaid audience.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with regulations, deadlines, and budgets.
  • Support Senior Professionals in preparing and opening new markets, managing media assets, and coordinating internal/external reviews.
  • Track and report on marketing metrics, compile state updates, and assist with research projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a similar field.
  • 3 years of experience in business, marketing strategy, digital marketing, and media marketing.
  • Experience in reviewing and communicating marketing metrics.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proven ability to measure marketing campaigns and manage budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.
  • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in or with the healthcare industry.
  • Marketing/Advertising agency experience.
