Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, generate, qualify, and close new business for customers and prospects in a defined territory; manage the full sales lifecycle and build a go‑to‑market plan (including direct and indirect business).
  • Develop new and existing accounts within the Northern California territory.
  • Complete and maintain a territory sales plan outlining a roadmap to success.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual quotas by proactively prospecting all product lines and opportunities with both new and existing customers.
  • Perform sales forecasting, lead generation, prospecting, and account management through the complete sales cycle.
  • Maintain accurate whitespace data on customer and focus prospect accounts.
  • Partner closely with the Vice President, SE’s, PAM’s, and the wider POD to deliver strategic goals.
  • Align with the Channel team and Channel Partners to deliver value to customers and Beyond Trust.
  • Coordinate with the SDR team to proactively cover the total addressable market.
  • Attend corporate trade shows and events.
  • Maintain sales pipeline activity in Salesforce.
  • Schedule and conduct product demonstrations and detailed presentations to prospects, customers, and partners.
  • Lead RFP responses for assigned accounts.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience Required: 5+ years of customer‑facing sales experience with security, PAM, Identity Management, or IT‑related software
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry; selling privileged access management and endpoint security solutions is highly desired
  • Established network and relationships with senior IT professionals
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Highly accountable and disciplined in daily activities
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to ask direct, insightful questions
  • Hunter mentality with experience driving net‑new business
  • Located in Northern California and able to travel within the region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completed sales training (Sandler, SPIN, DISC, TAS, Miller)
