Position Overview

Seamgen is San Diego's premier Digital Product Agency dedicated to making a positive impact through innovative design and technology. As a Social Media and SEO Marketing Intern, you will join our dynamic Marketing Team to craft and execute social media campaigns and SEO strategies. Your role involves creating content for various platforms, scheduling posts, engaging with our online community, and conducting market research, while learning key SEO techniques such as keyword research, website optimization, and content marketing. Thisunpaid internshiprequires 10-15 hours per week on a hybrid basis and offers an excellent opportunity to grow in the digital marketing field.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft and execute social media campaigns and SEO strategies.
• Create engaging content for social platforms.
• Schedule posts and actively engage with the online community.
• Conduct market research to support marketing strategies.
• Learn and implement SEO techniques including keyword research and website optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Passion for marketing, technology, and eagerness to learn about social media and SEO.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A positive and proactive attitude with strong teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of SEO basics.
• Basic knowledge of data analytics in marketing strategies.
• Experience or familiarity with content creation and digital design.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, or Moz.
