Position Overview
Charleys, the home of the #1 Cheesesteak in the World®, is seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Content Manager to shape its digital voice. Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing and working closely with the marketing and digital teams, the ideal candidate will craft content strategies, manage daily social media activities, and drive brand engagement across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily social media planning and content execution to support brand goals and campaigns.
- Plan, produce, and publish engaging short- and long-form content across multiple platforms.
- Oversee the social media content calendar, ensuring a strong mix of evergreen and timely content.
- Lead influencer marketing initiatives, building and nurturing paid partnerships with creators and brand advocates.
- Manage social media budgets, vendor relationships, and tools while mentoring the Content Producer.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate omnichannel campaigns driving follower growth and digital traffic.
- Coordinate content capture for photo and video shoots, ensuring all content aligns with Charleys Brand Standards.
- Monitor social platforms daily, responding to messages and moderating user-generated content.
- Adapt organic content for paid social campaigns and analyze performance metrics to inform strategies.
- Attend key brand and industry events to capture content and create engaging recaps.
- Coordinate influencer contracts, budgets, and campaign briefs to align with brand priorities.
- Continuously track emerging social media trends and competitor activity.
- Write creative briefs and execute Paid Social Ad campaigns in line with overall marketing strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 4-6 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or influencer marketing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple brand accounts and deliver measurable growth.
- Strong understanding of major social platforms, algorithms, and content trends.
- Experience with social media management tools (Sprout Social preferred).
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to adapt brand voice across audiences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
- Collaborative, creative, and detail-oriented with a passion for digital storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant, retail, or franchise marketing.
- Familiarity with influencer campaign management, analytics tools, and contract negotiations.
- Working knowledge of paid social advertising strategy and metrics.
- Short-form video creation, editing tools, and Adobe Creative Suite.
