Entry Level | Part Time | Pest Control Technician | $14 Hourly

Position Overview

This on‐the‐field tech position is for a growing pest control business that requires you to drive company‐provided work trucks between job sites. You will perform servicing duties, maintain legal record keeping, interact with customers, and adhere to strict appearance and behavior guidelines (no beard, company-branded clothing, proper shoes/socks). This role is not “work from home” or an "office position" – it demands reliability, excellent customer interaction, and strict compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect homes and businesses to identify pest problems and determine the appropriate treatment plan.
• Apply treatments according to regulations, product labels, and company guidelines.
• Educate clients on preventing future pest issues and recommend ongoing maintenance services.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of treatments, follow-ups, and customer interactions.
• Safely operate tools and equipment, and drive to various job sites punctually while ensuring compliance with safe driving protocols.
• Collaborate with the team to uphold high service standards and identify potential sales or lead opportunities, including door hanger campaigns.

Required Qualifications

• Must be legally allowed to work in the USA and speak fluent English.
• Must have a clean criminal record and adhere to strict job behavior (no smoking on the job or in the work truck).
• Valid driver’s license with a solid driving record.
• Willingness to learn pest control methods and pass the pest control exam after training.
• Compliance with appearance standards: no beard, wear company-branded long sleeve clothing (and cap if required), tough pants (jeans acceptable), and proper shoes/socks that can be safely covered with shoe covers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered technician license or the potential to obtain one.
• Experience in lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly and confident approach to customer service.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
