Job Description

Position Overview

Software Sales Specialist – Hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) based in Buffalo, NY. At Odoo, an open-source ERP platform, you will join our Direct Sales team to expand our customer base across North America by delivering integrated, tailored software solutions that streamline business operations. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. and no visa sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with fellow Account Executives to drive the growth and adoption of Odoo SaaS solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from inbound conversion and initial close to post-sale account management for upselling.
  • Act as a solution engineer by analyzing prospects’ business operations and tailoring an Odoo implementation package for demos.
  • Sell a diverse SaaS offering across almost every industry within the North American region.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to optimize and improve the sales process.
  • Achieve revenue targets in a quota-carrying role.
  • Participate in team reviews and share best practices to drive overall business progress.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 1+ years of internship experience.
  • Solid understanding of business operations and software provider landscapes across different verticals.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, think on your feet, and communicate effectively.
  • Results-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and a “hands-on” professional with a proven track record of meeting targets.
  • Creative and strategic thinker, capable of operating in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

  • Annual Compensation: $69,000-$93,000 OTE, with a base salary range of $45,000-$70,000. Actual salaries may vary based on education, training, experience, and location.
