Position Overview

M/I Homes has been building new homes of outstanding quality and superior design for over 40 years, growing into one of the nation’s leading homebuilders. As a Marketing Project Manager for Corporate Marketing, you will assist and organize various marketing projects while working closely with the Design, Digital, Email Marketing teams and other corporate departments. This role requires a creative, multi-task oriented problem-solver with strong visual communication skills and project management experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with strategic marketing operations by collaborating with the Marketing Director to align tactics with overall brand strategies and target market preferences.
  • Lead project management on assigned projects, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Leverage organization-wide projects to generate cost efficiencies, maximize resource utilization, and bolster return on ad spend.
  • Participate in bi-weekly division conference calls, corporate team meetings, and other operational meetings.
  • Organize department processes and manage overall workflow of the team, including monitoring and updating internal project and job lists.
  • Collect pertinent information for assigned projects and coordinate efforts to achieve deliverables.
  • Conduct special project research and management as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of marketing experience.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adopt the voice and tone of the M/I brand.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks concurrently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • A positive, client-centric attitude with a collaborative spirit.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
