Strategic Channel Manager
Job Description
Position Overview
There are 3 main purposes of this role: first, to manage (train, coach, eliminate barriers, etc.) a group of agent partners responsible for both defending the base of customers and growing revenue through acquisition; second, to grow the base of agent partners; and third, to act as a resource playing a critical role in escalations. Attendance is required in this position. This role involves daily interaction with Indirect Channel Partners and is classified as an exempt (Administrative) position. Additional Details: We were made aware of an employment scam in which a third-party is creating false communications under the altafiber name. altafiber never seeks payment from job applicants and only reaches out from @altafiber.com email addresses.
Key Responsibilities
- Review all opportunities to help develop/create complete solutions
- Champion internal and customer escalations (pricing, installs, outages, etc.)
- Uncover and help resolve sales barriers for Partners
- Drive proper behavior of Partners: i.e. sell value of altafiber products and find additional revenue with new or missing products
- Help coordinate needed training on processes and products for Partners
Required Qualifications
- Experience Required: 2 to 3 years of experience
- Education: Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment
- Knowledge of Cincinnati Bell systems and products
- Attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications
- Outside/Business-to-Business Sales, Telecom experience
