Position Overview

Our Technical Support Engineer role is part of the Cohesity support organization, based in our local support centers in Heathrow, FL; Roseville, MN; or Santa Clara. In this role, you will collaborate with talented engineers to troubleshoot issues, provide technical guidance, and ensure that our customers receive the highest level of support. Interested candidates based outside the designated areas are welcome to apply, provided they have the indefinite right to work in the job location.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Cohesity customers to provide a timely resolution to technical issues.
- Use available tools to investigate and troubleshoot problems.
- Record customer interactions, including the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.
- Collaborate closely with Cohesity engineering and account management teams.
- Exercise sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques to resolve issues.
- Manage workload effectively to ensure all customer issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist in developing comprehensive and reusable self-service solutions for future incidents.
- Develop knowledge base articles to support ongoing customer education.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field (graduating in 2026 is acceptable).
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and support decision making.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Understanding of networking basics including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic scripting and automation skills (optional but valuable) – experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

- Compensation: Pay Range: $60,560.00 - $75,700.00 per year, based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment. Bonus compensation, commission (if applicable), and/or equity grants may also be offered.
