Position Overview

Located in Aiea Heights, HI, this full-time role offers competitive Compensation: $48.09 to $52.90 hourly, with relocation and sign-on bonus eligibility when requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by examining prepared slides with a microscope to detect abnormalities.
• Use diagnostic codes to report negative cases and refer abnormal cases to pathologists for review.
• Keep daily records of work performed.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of cytology.
• Newly graduated students from an accredited Cytotechnologist Program will be considered.
• At least (1) year of laboratory training or experience performing high‐complexity testing.
• Cytotechnologist certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment including telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.

• 3+ years of laboratory training or experience.
