The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve on the Senior Executive Team, working closely with the Lead Pastor, Chief of Staff, and Directional Leadership Team to provide operational oversight, strategic planning, and goal setting. Location: St. Louis, MO
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in day-to-day operations including finance, legal, campus planning, administration, Academy, information technology, facilities, coffee shops, and bookstore.
- Consult with the CFO about finance and financial initiatives.
- Maintain Faith Church’s by-laws and legal policies while overseeing all legal and insurance concerns.
- Develop and manage operational systems and an operations team to execute expansion strategies for existing and future campuses, including master planning, design, architecture, contractor selection, and construction.
- Develop and manage administrative staff and systems.
- Provide monthly insights to the Academy Director regarding the development programs (babies to Pre-K) for the Monday – Friday program.
- Ensure the infrastructure and day-to-day operations meet the current and future needs of the organization, including optimizing weekend solutions and maintaining a strong relationship with the online campus and AV departments.
- Lead the team to acquire, build-out, and maintain facilities that support the vision of Faith Church.
- Contribute to strategic planning by shaping short- and long-term strategies and taking ownership of operational deliverables, including timelines, measurable goals, and stakeholder communications.
- Design and publish key dashboard metrics for both financial and non-financial ministry objectives in consultation with the CFO.
- Oversee software and systems (church database, payroll, accounting, etc.) and manage software conversions.
- Implement and monitor proper controls to ensure the organization remains financially beyond reproach.

- Align personal social media posts with Faith Church’s mission and church activities.
- Be a fully devoted follower of Christ and serve as an armor bearer when requested by the Senior Pastors.
- Serve as a member of the Senior Executive Team and partner with Senior Pastors and Directional Leadership Team members in guiding the mission and vision forward.
- Have a heart for the Church and be a mature follower of Christ.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Show experience in leading teams or groups and possess strong administrative abilities.
- Be able to work independently, perform well under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
