Position Overview

KKV was founded by community leaders in 1972 to provide much-needed health services for Kalihi’s low income, largely–immigrant Asian and Pacific Islander residents. With over 200 staff serving more than 15,000 residents annually in over 20 languages, KKV pioneers holistic, community‐based approaches to health and wellness. The organization is nationally recognized for its innovative Social Determinants Of Health (SDOH) programs and culturally rooted frameworks like Pilinahā.

POSITION OPENINGS: Multiple FULL TIME and PART TIME positions (40 hours a week). Salary commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the medical front and back area including appointment scheduling, answering telephone calls, and assisting patients.
• Assist all providers in delivering high quality health care to medical clients.
• Maintain efficient operations while adapting work hours as needed (Schedule: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm; Monday to Saturday; full-time requires 10 hours/day over 4 days/week).

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• Experience working with multi-cultural staff and client populations.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Must possess a Medical Assistant Certificate or be an RN graduate from another country.
• CPR Certification.
