Position Overview
If you are a problem-solver passionate about ensuring customers are delighted by how products look, feel, and work – and you want to make a real difference in how nursing students use our digital solutions – we want to hear from you! As a Product Owner, you will manage key accounts for our Nursing Education digital products/platforms by proactively managing relationships, resolving issues, and championing customer needs in product development. You will work directly with customers and cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams to ensure the best educational experiences are delivered.
Compensation: 74,000.00 - 126,800.00 USD.
Travel requirement:
Up to 10% travel.Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of Nursing Education customers and their needs, particularly their day-to-day interactions with our digital products/solutions.
- Coordinate with Product Management to ensure a shared understanding of customer needs aligned with both short- and long-term strategic goals.
- Deliver clear, empathetic, and professional communication tailored to each key account to explain complex issues effectively.
- Track and report on customer satisfaction metrics at key partnership accounts.
- Develop and implement effective product implementation strategies for key customers in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Translate customer feedback into actionable items for Agile/Scrum teams while maintaining strong organizational focus and customer service.
- Own the product development lifecycle by ensuring prioritized items are deployed in support of customer needs.
- Act as the subject matter expert and connector within the product team to resolve customer issues across internal departments.
Required Qualifications
- College degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience required.
- At least 1-year experience in customer service/support, with exposure to digital product development or educational/academic markets.
- Superior communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to facilitate both internal and external customer communications.
- Demonstrated ability to remain professional and solution-oriented while managing time-sensitive or challenging customer interactions.
- Strong project management skills, including schedule development, overseeing work-in-progress, and risk mitigation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and think structurally to see the bigger picture.
- Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams to consistently reach or exceed goals.
- Experience in implementing best practices in support of customer issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- General knowledge of the Nursing Education market.
- Experience understanding technology opportunities, constraints, and associated risk mitigation plans.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum principles and practices specific to Product Owners.
- Exposure to digital products/solutions in the educational space, including testing/assessment tools.
- Experience with backlog software (e.g., Jira, VSO, Trello, Wrike) and communication platforms (Slack, MS Teams, Salesforce, etc.).
