The Senior Field Service Technician (FST) is a field-based position responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining chemical dispensing equipment and related devices used in commercial foodservice or laundry operations. This role is dedicated solely to delivering exceptional service, ensuring customer retention and superior support. Key Responsibilities

  • Work a standard 5-day, 8-hour work week with potential 12-hour shifts, occasional weekends, and night shifts.
  • Lift, lower, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Climb vertical ladders and stairs as necessary.
  • Stand, sit, walk for prolonged periods, and perform physical tasks including twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and reaching on varied surfaces (concrete, uneven asphalt).
  • Operate a computer and phone to input and access data and to use software tools (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel).
  • Discern visual and audible alarms and signals for equipment startup, evacuation, and emergencies.
  • Operate a motor vehicle, spending approximately 30% of the day traveling in varied conditions.
  • Work in extreme temperature conditions, including varying warehouse environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and adapt to new skills through provided training.
  • Basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems with the ability to perform root cause analysis during troubleshooting.
  • Moderate proficiency with tools and technology, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be comfortable with approximately 30% driving under various road conditions.
  • Ability to handle occasional overnight travel.
  • Candidate must reside in or near the specified city and be available for on-call coverage, which may include weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
