The Manager Supply Chain Systems is a first-level manager responsible for the day-to-day activities of implementing, optimizing, and maintaining EDI/B2B solutions to boost efficiency and drive business growth. In this role, you will lead a team overseeing EDI strategy, resolve technical issues, and collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure successful deployment and utilization of our systems.

Schedule: In-Office 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the supply chain systems EDI/B2B team, ensuring design, development, and setup align with business needs.
  • Manage a team responsible for system support, maintenance, and enhancements, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with customer service, sales, IT, and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues while ensuring effective operations with existing and new trading partners.
  • Oversee the testing, configuration, and deployment of new system functionalities, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
  • Analyze system performance and supply chain data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing system workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members and end-users, promoting best practices and effective system utilization.
  • Maintain and update system documentation including user manuals, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support cross-functional projects to ensure seamless integration of EDI/B2B systems with other business processes.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to EDI performance and implementations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending improvements to existing systems and processes, including EDI and PDF AI Automation.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulatory requirements related to supply chain systems.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Experience Required: 6-8 years of relevant experience and 1-3 years of management experience.
  • Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Employment Visa sponsorship is not available), no relocation assistance is provided, and this is a direct hire role (contractors or agencies will not be considered).

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP OTC & EDI/B2B experience preferred.
  • Experience with platforms such as SPS Commerce, BizTalk, and Sterling.
  • Familiarity with EDI connectivity methods including FTP, AS2, and VANs.
  • Knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12) is preferred.
  • Experience with various EDI messaging types including 850, 855, 860, 865, 856, 870, 810, 997, 858, 824, 753, 754, 940, 944, 943, 945, 997, 204, 997, 990, and 214.
