TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN – ER Tech for travel assignments. This role involves assisting emergency room nurses and physicians in providing immediate care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment. The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking skills, experience in emergency settings, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Assist ER nurses and physicians with patient care, treatments, and procedures.
  • Monitor vital signs and provide basic life support interventions.
  • Perform wound care, splinting, IV insertions, and other emergency interventions.
  • Transport patients within the hospital as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Assist in trauma resuscitations, cardiac arrests, and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure the ER environment is stocked, clean, and ready for emergencies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient emergency care.
  • Travel to various healthcare facilities for assignments.

Qualifications

  • Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of ER or trauma experience.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; TNCC preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift patients, work in high-stress situations, and move quickly.
  • Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments.
