Job Description

Position Overview

SPMB is seeking an Analyst to serve as a key member of our client delivery team, driving and executing research strategies that enhance our knowledge of executive talent, industries, and companies. In this role you will interface with senior executives and investors, gain in‐depth industry insight, and contribute to developing successful companies and careers. Compensation: The pay scale for this role is $68k–$75k; this does not include a per search performance bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the research strategy and draft reports outlining targeted industries and companies.
  • Drive research efforts to ensure a high-quality candidate flow by identifying top quality executives.
  • Analyze new industries, market segments, and competitive landscapes to better understand our clients.
  • Understand the functional breakdown and roles within the executive structure.
  • Think strategically and speak intelligently about our clients across various industries.
  • Act as a domain expert in the markets/verticals researched and contribute to overall research strategy.
  • Ensure proper data capture and maintain the quality of candidate, company, and search records within SPMB's databases.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience managing the strategic and tactical research efforts of complex projects.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines and work with diverse individuals.
  • Familiarity with business research resources such as PitchBook and Crunchbase.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; relevant business research internships are a plus.
