Water resource Engineer P.E.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an Associate Water Resources Engineer to join a dynamic department at a very reputable civil engineering firm located in Riverside, CA. Compensation: Salary range: $120,000 - $130,000

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects, pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities.
• Produce plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects.
• Assist in preparing various engineering reports, including alignment and feasibility studies, preliminary design reports, and Master Plans.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling of water and sewer systems.
• Coordinate engineering tasks during project construction such as permitting issues, submittal reviews, survey coordination, and change order review.
• Design mechanical-related projects including pump and lift stations, wells, treatment facilities, and site grading plans.
• Support multiple design teams and Project Managers.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using CAD software.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a minimum of two years' experience in related projects.
• Possession of a PE license.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D is a plus.
• Working knowledge of planning and construction documents.
• Excellent technical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on several concurrent projects.
• Ability to read, understand, and adapt to local agency standards and communicate directly and effectively with agencies and clients.
