Position Overview
Oil Capital Electric is growing, and we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Apprentice to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Install conduit – EMT, rigid, PVC, etc.
- Pull wire – feeders, branch and service
- Install panel boards
- Site lighting – underground and pole lights
- Install lighting fixtures and other related devices
- Work with journeyman as required
- Offload trucks and sort materials
- Use tools such as hand benders, hydraulic benders, wire feeders, tuggers, etc.
- Install electrical systems in new construction and renovation properties
- Adhere to current rules and regulations to ensure systems pass inspection the first time
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following OCE and client safety standards and practices, as well as legal regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Available and willing to travel up to 100 miles for work
- Must possess knowledge of basic mathematics related to electrical
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain an electrical apprentice license in the state of Oklahoma
