Job Description

Position Overview

At Raytheon, our foundation is rooted in a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. In the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) division, you will support integration and test efforts including test planning, preparation, execution, BOE generation, and talent management. You will lead the DDG Flight III EMV and HERO test efforts with direct coordination with customer test leads and government personnel. This role is onsite with occasional travel to Dahlgren, VA, and requires active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance as well as U.S. citizenship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform integration, verification, and testing to ensure the system under test meets design specifications and requirements.
  • Conduct data collection activities, review and assess data elements, and deliver detailed reports of results.
  • Trace and correct faults in mechanical or electronic systems, including failure reporting and fault analysis.
  • Create and modify documentation in support of formal testing reviews.
  • Support field testing and participate in on-site test events.
  • Communicate weekly with customer counterparts to report status and coordinate missile builds and test events.
  • Collaborate across engineering functions to support missile builds, test support, and data analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with missile builds and missile systems.
  • Experience directly coordinating with U.S. Government customers and test personnel.
  • Experience supporting field tests or systems deployed in the field.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing TS clearance.
  • Knowledge of missile systems and associated programs.
  • Understanding of the missile build process and experience in BOE/proposal development.
  • Experience managing and presenting technical data to stakeholders in design reviews and technical interchange meetings.

  • Salary: $82,000 - $164,000 USD
