Compensation: $150,000 Base + Discretionary Performance Bonus
Functional Pillars of Responsibility
- Strategic Messaging & Narrative Development
- The “Involvement Banking” Playbook: Refine and codify the firm’s unique value proposition, ensuring a consistent and differentiated message across all client touchpoints.
- Vertical-Specific Positioning: Collaborate with senior bankers to develop bespoke narratives for Healthcare, Fintech, Industrials, Data Centers, Digital Assets, positioning the firm as a premier domain expert.
- Market Thesis Creation: Identify and synthesize emerging sector trends into a compelling “house view” used to engage middle-market founders.
- Institutional Collateral & Marketing Materials
- High-Stakes Pitch Materials: Own the production and design of the firm’s pitch books, teasers, and CIM templates, ensuring they meet “Morgan Stanley” institutional standards.
- Sector Intelligence Reports: Manage the creation of quarterly market updates and sector “white papers” designed to drive inbound inquiries from target companies.
- Deal Announcements: Execute the distribution strategy for deal “tombstones” to maximize visibility across digital channels and industry databases.
- Social Strategy & “Distributed Authority”
- Partner Personal Branding: Act as a ghostwriter and editor for senior partners, crafting sophisticated LinkedIn commentary that builds individual and firm-wide authority.
- LinkedIn Presence: Manage the firm’s corporate social presence, moving beyond static updates to a strategy centered on high-engagement research and deal wins.
- Digital Footprint Management: Ensure all firm digital assets—including the website and industry profiles—are professional, current, and optimized for search.
- Growth Architecture & Intent-Driven Automation
- Signal-Based Sourcing: Utilize FinTent to identify “trigger events” (e.g., leadership changes, funding rounds) and automate the initial deal-sourcing outreach.
- Relationship Intelligence: Optimize Affinity to ensure all social engagements and market touchpoints are captured, creating a frictionless deal-sourcing funnel.
- AI-Augmented Workflows: Integrate Rogo into the daily workflow to accelerate market research, content synthesis, and high-fidelity outreach production.
- System Autonomy: Proactively identify and integrate auxiliary tools that bridge gaps within the Microsoft 365 and Affinity ecosystem to drive operational efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate Profile
- The “Full-Stack” Marketer: You are as comfortable writing a sophisticated sector thesis as you are configuring a data enrichment API.
- Elite Finance Fluency: You have 5–7 years of experience within high-finance or fintech and understand the nuances of a $100M+ M&A mandate.
- Operational Autonomy: You are a “department of one” capable of building the marketing function from the ground up without a pre-existing playbook.
- Writing Excellence: You possess the ability to write in the voice of a seasoned Managing Partner—crisp, analytical, and devoid of marketing “fluff.”
