Job Description
Position Overview
This role focuses on providing recruiting coordination and support for the Physician and APP recruiting department at Intermountain Health. The candidate will partner with site leadership as a strategic business partner to manage the full lifecycle recruiting process—including candidate sourcing, screening, contract negotiation, and marketing efforts—while upholding the mission and values of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic business partner with site leadership on provider recruitment issues.
- Develop effective talent acquisition, sourcing, and workforce planning strategies.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify candidate skill set needs and priorities.
- Manage the full cycle recruiting process—from presentation and candidate selection to offer, negotiation, and closing.
- Act as the primary point of contact for physician and APP candidates regarding contract questions and requested changes.
- Lead recruitment negotiations and work closely with compensation committees to set realistic timetables and guide the negotiation process.
- Direct marketing efforts including advertisement creation, media selection, and final proofing of recruitment materials.
- Educate department support staff on recruitment processes and updates, ensuring proficiency across the team.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes and maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Initiate and manage the generation of candidate contracts, including details related to compensation.
- Source candidates from multiple channels and review candidate references prior to advancing them in the process.
- Oversee candidate logistics for site visits, travel, and related arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5+ years in recruitment, preferably with exposure to healthcare environments.
- Working knowledge of recruitment processes and proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Microsoft and Google products).
- Effective communication skills with a strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Capability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including prolonged sitting/standing and occasional manual handling.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
