Position Overview

This role is responsible for evaluating and decisioning consumer offerings within ALLY underwriting policies and managing a portfolio of dealers. It requires applying sound underwriting judgment and risk management principles, ensuring policy compliance, and maintaining a high level of customer service. Limited travel and flexibility in work schedule—including evening hours and weekends—may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximize portfolio revenue by practicing sound underwriting judgment and risk management principles.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting policies and stay abreast of changes in policies and procedures.
• Manage the assigned portfolio of dealers to drive business growth.
• Limited travel will be required.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including evening hours and weekends, is expected.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years in auto finance consumer underwriting (prime, sub-prime, or non-prime); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Self-starter with a high level of productivity and a strong sense of ownership.
• Familiarity with the Auto Finance industry, consumer credit, and trend analytics, with the ability to work independently.

• Compensation & Incentives:Market competitive base pay range of $55,000 - $95,000 USD, pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses), and eligibility for an annual incentive plan.
