Position Overview

As a Medical Scribe, you’ll work alongside doctors to document patient visits in real time—recording medical history, exams, test results, and prescriptions—to help them focus on patient care. Schedule: Full-time and part-time roles available, with shifts such as Monday–Thursday 6:00AM–9:00PM, 8:00PM–7:00AM, and Monday–Friday 8:00AM–5:00PM. Location: Various healthcare settings nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with doctors during patient visits to document medical history, exams, treatments, and prescriptions.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to record data in real time.
- Review and track laboratory and test results.
- Follow HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines to ensure patient record security.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient charts.
- Send and organize documents for doctor review.
- Assist the healthcare team with lab tracking, follow-ups, and overall clinic operations.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old (16 in TX) and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Proof of vaccinations may be required.
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Flexible schedule availability.
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods.
- Access to a laptop for training (a company laptop is provided after training).
