Position Overview

Join Think Tell Junction as an Entry Level Communications Assistant in Austin, TX. As a key member of our team, you will support our communications efforts, help foster strong relationships with clients and the community, and contribute to our innovative and creative projects. This is a full-time, in-person role. Compensation: $63,000 - $72,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and dissemination of press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials.
  • Support the management of social media accounts by creating content and analyzing engagement metrics.
  • Coordinate and plan internal communications activities and events.
  • Conduct research to gather information for communication projects and reports.
  • Help maintain the organization’s website content and ensure it is up-to-date.
  • Assist in monitoring media coverage and compiling reports on communications initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms for professional purposes.
  • Basic knowledge of public relations principles and practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
