Job Description

Position Overview

Join our dynamic team as a PART TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (remote) working 20 hours a week from anywhere in the United States. In this role, you will provide technical assistance and support via inbound phone calls for TriZetto Provider Solutions’ internal and external clients. You will work in an environment focused on superior customer experience with career growth opportunities and excellent performance-based incentives. Note: Regular phone hours are Monday–Friday until 6:00pm CST with no weekend or late shifts; full-time availability is only required for a 2‑week training period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of inbound technical phone calls in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues, achieving high First Contact Resolution rates.
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure effective resolution of issues.
  • Document all calls, issues, comments, and resolutions accurately in the appropriate software systems.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate (a strong academic record is essential).
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service, including at least six months in a customer care role.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a dedicated quiet workspace and a reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Excellent verbal communication, written documentation, and strong customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare management.
  • Understanding of the insurance industry, electronic claims, and medical office protocols, including coding/billing practices.
  • Technical expertise with specialized applications, including familiarity with hardware, software, claim formats (ANSI, NSF, Print Image), and HIPAA transaction sets (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277).
