Position Overview

Teleflex Incorporated is a global provider of medical technologies focused on improving people’s health and quality of life. In the Surgical Senior Sales Representative role based in Indianapolis, IN, you will work in an OR-based environment with uncapped earnings and significant career potential. You will engage with Surgeons, OR Coordinators, and Economic Buyers to deliver solutions that add value to our surgical product portfolio. Travel required: Up to 50%.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attain quota by aligning with corporate objectives and following required sales processes.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of surgical procedures and OR protocols relative to our product portfolio.
  • Participate in assigned surgical procedures on a weekly basis as directed by the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Evaluate territory performance against objectives (sales forecast, budget, new accounts, etc.) and take appropriate action to improve results.
  • Communicate customer requirements and coordinate support from other departments as needed.
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure proper collection of accounts receivable through appropriate documentation.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts by customer and product.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Recommend growth opportunities including new market strategies and potential acquisitions.
  • Assist in setting sales objectives for the territory in cooperation with the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Deliver timely field activity reports and special reports to support business and product planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in B2B or medical device sales with a demonstrated track record of success.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or an equivalent of 8+ years’ sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to carry a detail bag and lift equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Comfortable standing or walking for 6–10 hours per day in various hospital settings and meetings.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain credentials for access to hospital and medical facilities.
