Ready to take your proven sales success into a role with unlimited potential? As an Account Executive at UWM, you’ll drive growth and serve as a trusted partner to brokers nationwide. From day one, you’ll have everything you need to win—over 500 hours of annual training, a dedicated portfolio of broker partners, and access to industry-leading products, technology, and support. Based in Pontiac, Michigan (metro Detroit area only), this inside account executive role empowers you to coach brokers, solve challenges, and build a thriving career in the dynamic mortgage industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with broker accounts in all 50 states.
  • Train and educate brokers on UWM’s Easiest Application System Ever (EASE), programs, products, guidelines, and processes.
  • Act as your clients’ go-to resource for guidance and solutions.
  • Deliver up-to-the-minute information about the latest products, resources, and industry updates.
  • Champion your brokers and ensure every loan becomes a success story.
  • Monitor account performance and manage a strong pipeline of loans to meet and exceed sales goals.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of experience in mortgage sales as a loan officer, mortgage banker or wholesale account executive OR one year of relationship-based sales experience.
  • Understanding the difference between retail and wholesale lending.
  • Proven success in building business relationships.
  • Confident communication skills with professionalism over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office, CRMs and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Ability to accept feedback and a strong desire to improve every day.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the mortgage industry with previous experience at a retail or wholesale mortgage lender.
  • Inside sales and/or phone sales experience.
  • Passion for the mortgage industry and previous experience in a business-to-business sales model.
  • Motivation to achieve a six figure income in a competitive sales environment.
