SACRAMENTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL seeks new media and TV production interns to work Summer and Fall 2024.
PART-TIME INTERNSHIP
LOOKING FOR SPRING and SUMMER 2024 INTERNS
The A-team is an intensive volunteer educational internship for a major festival event in Sacramento California. Volunteer interns are treated as apprentices learning a trade. The opportunity is intended for persons seriously interested in pursuing a career in the fields of Public Relations, advertising, New Media Marketing, and video production. A-team members are responsible for all aspects of the festival including marketing, promotion and administration. Requires 16 hours per week commitment. (2-6pm weekdays PST). Working in partnership with community organizations we put on an amazing media festival for the Capital of California.
QUALIFICATIONS:
No experience necessary. This is a non-paid work training internship. Qualifications include ability to make a serious commitment, good work ethics, a good attitude and the ability to be flexible.
DESCRIPTION of DUTIES:
Accepted applicants will learn real world production skills including:
- Online, social media marketing
- Info Graphics creation
- In person and written marketing
- Plus multi-camera live productions
- Remote camera field and editing content creation
Qualified applicants also learn new media skills including web design, social media and web video. Interns will support public access producers and be assigned their own productions. Interns will also attend virtual meetings with our festival director, and the other members of the A-Team.
