Software Engineer - Microsoft / AI

Position Overview

As an IT Staff Engineer I, you’ll play a mid-level role in managing and supporting IT infrastructure and applications. You’ll lead development efforts, design intelligent solutions using Generative and Agentic AI, and ensure compliance with IT standards.
Location: Dallas TX or Phoenix AZ (4x per week onsite).
Compensation: 125k + bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage projects from concept to completion
• Develop AI-driven solutions using Generative AI (e.g., LLMs) and Agentic frameworks
• Implement reliable engineering practices and recovery procedures
• Design performance metrics and reference architectures for applications
• Ensure adherence to IT policies, controls, and industry standards

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT App Support or Development
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and Co-Pilot Studio
• Strong understanding of regulatory/legal compliance and industry standards
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects
• Experience with Azure DevOps and pipeline development
• Ability to align projects with organizational goals, lead teams, resolve conflicts, and mitigate risks
• Proficiency in governance patterns (intake, technical reviews, architectural compliance)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Intelligent Automation (RPA, workflows)
• Advanced knowledge of Generative AI (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.) and Agentic AI
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of UiPath Cloud technologies
• Experience in Financial Services or Banking
