Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview

Actalent is seeking a dedicated SR. Mechanical Engineer to support the development and commissioning of custom automated equipment at multiple sites. In this role, you will work with SolidWorks and PDM systems to deliver project milestones within a clear scope of work. Salary: $40.00 - $65.00/hr. Location: Minneapolis, MN. This is a permanent, fully onsite position where you will collaborate with a team of Mechanical Engineers alongside Electrical Design/Drafting and Controls Engineering professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom automated equipment using SolidWorks.
• Support internal equipment installations and commissioning at various sites.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Utilize PDM for effective project management and design documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly with custom automated equipment.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks design and PDM systems.
• Proven experience in machine design and new product development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated equipment or machine design is highly desirable.
