As a Senior Principal Applications Delivery Network Engineer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customer's mission. You will play a crucial role in delivering advanced solutions and strategic insight to optimize the customers enterprise environment.
- Proven expertise in managing, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and updating application delivery and/or load balancing systems.
- Evaluate and recommend network optimization and application acceleration techniques.
- Extensive experience with application delivery and/or load balancing systems across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud-based environments.
- Use advanced tools and analytics to diagnose and resolve issues related to application delivery.
- Proficient in using automation and orchestration for streamlined maintenance and monitoring of application delivery and/or load balancing systems.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in application delivery and network engineering.
- Extensive knowledge of ADN technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, load balancing, and security best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., F5 Certified Tech Expert/Specialist, Citrix Certified Associate/Professional in AppsDS, Citrix Net Scaler, Azure/AWS Admin) are preferred.

- Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret and SCI eligible
- Location: Onsite
- Required: US Citizenship
- Required: DoD 8140 IAT II compliant

Salary Range
The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
