Quality Assurance Auditor

Position Overview

Thales helps secure digital identities and protect data for organizations worldwide. In this on‐site role in North Kingstown, RI, you will play a key part in ensuring that our customer’s mail kit products meet the highest quality standards. You will perform internal audits, verify compliance with established QA procedures, and support production teams to maintain exceptional levels of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret job sheets and ISO/CQM requirements, and understand process controls and calibration/verification concepts.
• Follow established QA procedures to audit completed mail kit products, including data card, hand fulfillment, and auto inserting departments.
• Utilize the company’s JAAMS system and job tracking system for audit input and monitoring.
• Generate non-conformance reports and provide feedback on excessive errors to the QA manager.
• Support the production floor by inspecting and segregating non-conforming products and validating new product portfolios.
• Maintain flexibility with working nights and weekends as required, while upholding the company’s vision, mission, and values.

Required Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing and/or production environment.
• Bachelor’s degree ispreferred.
• Proficiency in QA procedures with a strong attention to detail.
• Basic analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities alongside well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and procedures; and to produce routine reports.
• Basic math skills with intermediate computer skills.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and handling practical problems in variable situations.
