Job Description

Position Overview

As an Account Executive/Sales Representative (NYC/Bronx), you will be partnering directly with School Administrators, Educators, Technology Directors, Department Chairs, and AP Directors in asolution-based sellingenvironment. You will focus on selling Core, Intervention, and Personalized Solutions to our K-12 customer base, driving new business development. This role requires 75-80% travel with some overnight commitments. The ideal candidate must reside in New York City or the Bronx area and be authorized to work in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attain and surpass sales goals while building and maintaining customer relationships to expand market penetration.
  • Create and execute marketing and strategic territory plans with excellent organization and follow-through.
  • Conduct engaging and effective sales presentations.
  • Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills internally and externally to facilitate desired outcomes.
  • Manage company resources, including the company-provided vehicle, credit card, home office, and computer equipment.
  • Drive decisions based on data analysis and competitive intelligence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Experience working with internal cross-functional teams including Product Development, Product Marketing, and Software Development.
  • A deep understanding of technology use in educational environments and related infrastructures such as platforms and curricula.
  • Proven organizational skills with strong territory management and problem resolution in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software: basic skills in Outlook and PowerPoint, intermediate skills in Word and Excel.
  • Experience with a CRM database (Salesforce) is highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of sales experience in K-12 educational publishing or EdTech services.
  • Experience selling digital or SaaS products.

  • Base Compensation:$62,000-$89,000 annually (dependent on experience and job-related skills).
