Job Description
Position Overview
Connect people and communities by offering best-in-class telecommunication services through door-to-door solicitation of new prospective customers. Applicants must be able to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

- Acquire new residential customers through door-to-door contact from assigned leads.
- Conduct proactive consultative needs analysis with new prospective customers.
- Develop and present sales presentations/proposals on products and services that meet customers’ needs.
- Complete all necessary paperwork to support sales activities in line with quality control guidelines.
- Participate actively in all sales meetings and training programs as assigned.
- Achieve monthly sales quotas in high-speed data, mobile, landline phone, and video sales.
- Perform administrative tasks related to products sold according to department policies.
- Keep informed about competitors' activities and relay any changes in competitive pricing or tactics.
- Attend and successfully complete training programs.
- Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Engaging interpersonal skills with the capability to listen, formulate needs-based sales strategies, and articulate pitches effectively.
- A passion to succeed paired with strong personal drive to sell to prospective customers.
- Willingness and ability to travel (including during inclement weather) using a reliable personal vehicle.
- Familiarity with computer operating systems, software applications, and various consumer/commercial communication devices.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed to maximize customer contact.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior success in a sales position, prospecting, or cold calling; direct sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services, especially data networking fundamentals, with the ability to educate consumers on related products.
- Minimum of 2+ years in sales or relevant work experience.
