Accounting/Payroll Specialist

We are searching for a motivated Accounting and Payroll Specialist to work with a heavy industry construction company. The primary focus of this position is to provide meticulous cost management support utilizing TRACK Software, as well as assisting in daily communication with field supervisors for timekeeping duties and payroll processing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate proficiency in data entry tasks.

To be a successful Accounting & Payroll Specialist, you should have an understanding of basic Accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel or Quickbooks. You should be trustworthy, efficient, and organized.

Accounting/Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:

• Providing support to the Accounting Department.
• Utilize TRACK Software for precise contractor cost management, ensuring all expenses are accurately recorded and analyzed.
• Communicate daily with field supervisors to obtain relevant documentation for timekeeping duties / payroll processing
• Perform data entry functions by keying data into computer system
• Provide routine administrative support for accounting department

Accounting/Payroll Specialist Requirements:

• Degree not required but do need someone who has prior experience in a similar role.
• Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
• Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
• Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
• Training on company specific software/programs will be provided
