In this role, as the Social Media Community Specialist, you will manage organic social channels across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, ensuring a holistic, consumer-obsessed experience that drives relevancy and demand. Key Responsibilities
- Social Listening – Conduct real-time social listening across platforms and utilize social listening tools to identify insights and act on opportunities.
- Social Listening – Identify key consumers to execute surprise and delight opportunities on social media.
- Strategy – Collaborate with brand and social teams to execute organic channel and content strategies that align with business goals.
- Execution and Engagement – Monitor and moderate all social brand mentions to identify engagement opportunities and provide insights to cross-functional teams.
- Execution and Engagement – Engage in real-time with consumers, maintain social media calendars, and create or brief lo-fi content as needed.
- Execution and Engagement – Identify influencers organically engaging with the brand and optimize agency-created assets or user-generated content.
- Execution and Engagement – Attend in-person events and activations for social media coverage and content capture.
- Integrated Marketing and Cross Functional Collaboration – Propose social-led activation ideas and collaborate with stakeholders including influencer, experiential, PR teams and agencies.
- Integrated Marketing and Cross Functional Collaboration – Coordinate influencer marketing campaigns and partner with Consumer Engagement Services for timely response to product queries and crisis management.
- Integrated Marketing and Cross Functional Collaboration – Work with legal and brand teams on social sweepstakes/contests processes.
- Reporting – Deliver quarterly reports to key stakeholders, summarizing overall social engagement and performance metrics.
- Reporting – Perform other duties as assigned to meet brand and team needs.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of the social media landscape and modern consumer needs.
- Education: Completed Bachelors Degree.
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in social media management representing a brand or organization.
- Exceptional comprehension of social trends, competitive landscape, and best practices with proficiency in social analytics tools and metrics.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with various stakeholders and teams.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva Pro, Instagram Reels video editing, and TikTok video editing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with social listening tools such as Talkwalker or similar platforms.
- Experience using Sprinklr for social listening and publishing.
- Background working with CPG brands and experience collaborating with large brands and partner agencies.
- Proficiency in creating content using Instagram Reels and/or TikTok.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and other video editing software.
