Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, SEO with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making to develop and execute our SEO roadmap and drive organic growth. The ideal candidate will have deep technical SEO experience and will own execution of the SEO roadmap to improve our website online visibility, organic search rankings, conducting keyword research, analyzing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product, IT and Sales. This individual will report to the SEO Director and will be part of the WillScot Digital Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop SEO Roadmap: Assist to build comprehensive, data-driven SEO roadmap that align with business objectives, focusing on measurable improvements in organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Use advanced analytics tools to track key SEO metrics, conduct in-depth performance analysis, and identify trends.
  • SEO Performance Dashboards: Coordinate real-time dashboards to continuously monitor SEO KPIs such as organic search traffic, rankings, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and bounce rates.
  • A/B Testing and Experimentation: Apply A/B tests and multivariate experiments to optimize SEO tactics and measure effectiveness.
  • Technical SEO and Site Audits: Carry out comprehensive technical audits to ensure the site meets best practices for SEO.
  • Keyword Research & Predictive Analysis: Apply advanced keyword research techniques combined with forecasting and predictive analysis.
  • Improve Domain Authority: Audit and remove negative impacting backlinks and acquire high-quality backlinks.
  • Content Optimization and Strategy: Coordinate existing content to identify areas for optimization and collaborate with content teams.
  • On-Page SEO: Coordinate optimization efforts for individual pages, ensuring proper use of keywords and optimizing meta tags.
  • Competitor and Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to benchmark performance and identify market gaps.
  • User Behavior Insights: Utilize tools to gain insights into user interactions on-site and refine user experience.
  • SEO Automation and Scalability: Enact SEO automation tools and processes to streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional team members to understand business needs and prioritize SEO efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, finance, economics, data science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience driving SEO strategy and generating significant organic growth in B2B & B2C organizations.
  • Expert in SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog).
  • Expert in data visualization platforms (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI).
  • Expert in UX design software such as Figma, Sketch, XD and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Expert in Contentful (or other similar CMS), Storybook (React Native UI), and Bynder (or other DAM).
  • Experience in Salesforce CRM, SF Marketing Cloud automation platform and other Salesforce suite of products.
  • Proven results with driving traffic and SEO improvements to support B2B eCommerce.
  • Experience with automation tools like Zapier, or custom scripts for SEO reporting.
  • Experience in AI and machine learning applications in SEO as well as international/multi-language SEO.
  • A results oriented, self-starter, able to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
