JOB SUMMARY

The Junior Pricing and Operational Analyst will support the Pricing team by assisting with data analysis, market research, and pricing strategies. This entry-level role is designed for individuals eager to learn about the industry and the company while developing foundational skills in pricing methodologies and business operations. The position offers hands-on training and mentorship to foster a deep understanding of pricing models, competitive analysis, and internal processes.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, to effectively contribute to pricing strategies.
• Assist in analyzing pricing data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform decision-making.
• Support the creation and maintenance of pricing models, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and understand business processes.
• Participate in training programs and self-guided learning to enhance knowledge of pricing methodologies and industry best practices.
• Utilize fleet routing software, route optimization software, historical data, and cost analysis to set pricing and re-evaluate existing pricing.
• Respond to request for quotes and internal pricing questions.
• Maintain a metrics scorecard and the status of all bid opportunities.
• Assist the Sr. Pricing & Operational Analyst and Pricing Manager with special projects or management reports.
• Other duties as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree: Value
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite: i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint;
