Customer Sales & Service Representative

Position Overview

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time Customer Sales & Service Representative at our Location: Indianapolis, IN service center. In this role, you'll provide professional and timely support to our sales team and customers. Responsibilities:

• Solve customer inquiries, prepare quotes, and process/expedite orders & returns
• Source parts from suppliers nationwide
• Assist in generating sales by upselling, adding on, & educating customers
• Assemble hoses for walk-in customers
• Help in the stockroom & deliver orders to customers as needed

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year customer service, inside sales, mechanical or maintenance experience required
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & data entry software
• Attention to detail, time management, organization, & communication skills
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR)

Preferred Qualifications

• Hydraulic experience preferred
