Position Overview

With a proud history spanning more than 100 years of improving health worldwide through orthopedic, trauma, ENT, wound care and robotics technologies, our client stands as a leader in innovative medical solutions. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing, the Sr. Global Market Manager will manage a defined set of products within a franchise. This role involves working with global marketing and sales teams to gain insights into market dynamics, collecting voice of customer feedback, and consolidating input into the development of the Global Product Plan while leading product development initiatives and supporting programs to drive revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • 60%: Works closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing and country marketing leads to develop and drive the franchise Global Product Plan, acting as the marketing lead for the new product development process and new product launches.
  • 30%: Develops and maintains customer relationships, engages with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and manages surgeon consultant(s) by consolidating voice of customer feedback to identify unmet needs and market dynamics.
  • 10%: Collaborates with commercial marketing teams to develop downstream marketing plans for the assigned product franchise.
    • Limited product launch and full launch plans
    • Demo and trade-out programs
    • Participation in developing training plans and content
    • Collaboration with manufacturing planners to forecast product needs and ensure adequate demo and launch inventory

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of commercial experience in the medical device industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA preferred
  • 5+ years marketing experience preferred
  • Experience in Orthopaedics is desired
