Compensation:Pay Range: $52,555 - $85,400 /year

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze information for business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope and objectives for healthcare systems.
  • Utilize presentation and interpersonal skills to educate healthcare software application users on effective IT use.
  • Assist in preparing flow charts and models for feasibility studies for potential system solutions.
  • Estimate costs, tasks, and resource needs for new or changing systems under guidance.
  • Develop systems documentation to guide users and support ongoing system maintenance and development.
  • Create training curriculum and course content for various instructional methods including classroom, e-learning, and hands-on workshops.
  • Oversee scheduling and logistics of training sessions and maintain training documentation including reference materials and user guides.
  • Stay updated on system updates, best practices, and industry trends including Epic or legacy systems as applicable.
  • Engage with end users to understand training needs and gather feedback on training effectiveness.
  • Assume on-call duties as needed to provide user support by identifying problems and proposing solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and one (1) year experience in a healthcare application support role (experience may substitute for education requirement).
  • For roles supporting Epic systems: Epic certification in the assigned area is required or must be obtained within 12 weeks of training (with no more than two testing attempts), or demonstrated familiarity with legacy systems as applicable.
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to set and manage multiple priorities and lead team projects.
  • Systems thinking skills to recognize interactions and relationships between people, processes, and technology.
