Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for all manufacturing activities.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and make strategic business decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial controls and processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on manufacturing accounting principles and practices.
- Train and mentor junior accountants on best practices and procedures.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to management and key stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate any financial risks or discrepancies.
- Stay updated on industry developments and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including management, vendors, and auditors.
- Work closely with the procurement team to manage costs and optimize inventory levels.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities for the manufacturing department.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
