Position Overview

As the Director HR and HSEQ North America, you will strategically lead and oversee the HR and HSEQ functions, serving as a key business partner to the executive team by ensuring compliance with labor laws and health, safety, environmental and quality standards while promoting a culture of safety and sustainability. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR & HSEQ strategies that drive long-term success.
  • Optimize HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, talent management, and performance appraisal processes.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines, labor laws, and health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor HR Business Partners and HSEQ experts to deliver innovative and effective solutions.
  • Drive strategic campaigns and initiatives to enhance safety, operational excellence, and employee engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Law/Labor Law or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10–12 years progressive HR experience in senior positions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws in North America and international legal compliance.
  • Proven experience in implementing HSEQ initiatives and managing HR operations.

  • Interest in Health Management, Safety, and Environment.
  • Experience in a global HR environment with strategic business partnering skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
