Position Overview
Our RN Clinical Educators have a unique opportunity to apply their clinical nursing expertise in a new way outside traditional patient care while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for patient well-being through innovative medical device technology. This per-diem role focuses solely on in-servicing and education—no sales responsibilities or bedside care—and offers flexibility to accommodate your current schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff for new IV catheter and syringe technologies.
- Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive learning experience.
- Utilize clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns regarding medical devices.
- Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to clients during and after in-service assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse preferred with an active and unrestricted RN license.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
- Prior experience with IV catheters, needles, and syringe technology products strongly preferred.
- Experience in an immunization clinic is preferred.
- Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) is a plus.
- Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally.
