The FIFA World Cup 2026 will mark the first tournament featuring 48 teams hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the USA. Key Responsibilities
- Thrive in a high-intensity environment managing a large volume and variety of projects for the world’s largest event.
- Manage day-to-day expectations of all teams and partners while making critical decisions to drive first-class marketing executions.
- Create and implement marketing plans—including advertising campaigns, promotional activations, and digital strategies—to reach target audiences for the FIFA World Cup 2026 local market.
- Engage proactively with local creative ideas for ticket sales, event attendance, and social activations that support collaborations and timely promotional opportunities.
- Monitor progress and deadlines for marketing projects aligned with key milestones such as Official Mascot, Trophy Tour, World Cup Poster, FIFA Fan Festival, and more.
- Coordinate special event activations, handling logistics like tour bookings, vendor coordination, and on-site setups.
- Manage the budget, track expenses, and ensure that all marketing assets and media are both cost-effective and aligned with the FIFA brand.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, brand, creative, communications, event marketing, strategy, and commercial) and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Communicate proactively with external agencies, maintain meeting schedules, and compile reports on campaign performance, ROI, and improvement recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or similar higher education.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in marketing, event, and project management for large-scale events.
- Strong client management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in promotions, event activations, and entertainment; agency or sport environment experience is advantageous.
- Proven high-level management experience and familiarity working with international offices/staff.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish and French is a bonus.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Teams, Monday.com, planning software, Outlook Email, scheduling, and online collaboration tools).
